There are many ways in which we can excel in life. People use different metrics to measure success at different stage of their lives. A 20 year-old student might based his success on CGPA. While a 40 year-old executive will look at her salary, bonus and promotion. A 70 year-old grandpa from Muar would smile at the sight of his grandkids.
So, success depends on how we define our roles in the society and the meaning we give it. It is vital not to compare ourselves to others.
