We are unique. But that is true as far as being an individual. Every human being has a unique set of personalities, temperaments, and intelligence. You got the drill.
But in terms of our existence, we are not special. We don't own a birthright in the universe. We are neither Simba nor we are the chosen one. We are not more privileged than our colleagues or classmates.
But like everybody else, we earn a spot to make it in this world — and like everybody else we also have to work hard.
I could sleep better at night knowing that our achievements are a reflection of our effort and we all have a fighting chance to make it in this world.
Thank you Dr Beni for sharing. Reminds me of a quote from a movie, that this whole world is like a big machine, and a machine never comes with extra parts. Every cog and every wheel has a purpose, and we had to be here for some reasons to play our part.
